My brother flung it across the desk and the screen is shattered ....

I got the 3gs one , I told hime to calll ATT and see wtf they can do and so on... his bday is coming up so I told him it will be his bday present if att wants 600 + for new phone loll

Same with my stepfather and any kind of vehicle....As soon as he gets in one, it breaks down or gets in an accident or repossessed.....I let him drive one of my old cars and six months later, it was totalled.....Now he has no license....Thank God.

I sold my iPhone 2g with a cracked screen on craigslist for 100$ (4gb) and bought the iphone 3g (8gb) for 199$ .. is your upgrade eligibility almost there? might be better than paying for a screen repair..

Juicy, you can get it replaced @ any applestore now, for $100 while you wait.. this just recently started i heard about it when i was getting mine serviced.

how badly is it broken? If it is completely shattered, then apple will definitely tell you to fuck yourself, but if it is just a crack or two, it may be worth a trip into the store.

my wife dropped hers and it cracked and i took it in last weekend and told them it cracked when she had it in her pocket and bumped up against something. they said it was probably just a weak spot on the phone and replaced it for free... took about 2 minutes

That cover wont fit in my pants, i don't wear anything skin tight but even a good fit pants can not handle those edges. I'd have to hold my iphone :1orglaugh

My daughter dropped her phone and it was out of warranty. She is broke right now (she was on strike) and so I called apple and they sent her a new phone the very next day free of charge. Normal price is $299. Rogers, her cellphone company wanted $499 to replace the screen

They pay $175 for a 16gb 3gs even w/ a defective screen!
