Nintendo Gamecube games.... what's good?
 

Ok, being the admitted video game junky that I am. I bought a Nentendo Gamecube this weekend. Before your start bashing me and saying that it's a "kiddy system" and such , I should let you know that I have a Xbox and PS2 for my adult natured games already. Like I said, I admit I'm a game junky. Anyway, I basically bought the thing to play Zelda and Metroid, but it came with a free copy of Super Smash Brothers too! After many hours of extensive game play I came to the conclusion that this Nintendo system ROCKS! Now I'm ready to go out and get some more games, but have no clue what's any good. So, who has one? What games are any good? Hook me up, I've got my plastic in hand and am not afraid to use it!

I buy the N consoles just for Zelda as well.

007 NightFire and Hot Pursuit 2 are excellent!

I would get either Resident Evil titles. Those games rawk and they definatly aren't kiddy games! I am thinking about getting a Cube just for those titles.

Eternal Darkness is supposed to be good.

Yeah, good games, but I've played those on the PS2 for some time now and am more into the action adventure/spy op type games rather than "scarry". However though I must admit that game did make me jump quite a few times. lol

I have an X-Box and a gamecube...

I have to admit that I play more with the gamecube. I haven't been impressed with the quality of games with the X-Box. It's getting better but it's not what I had expected. With the gamecube, so far there are not a lot of titles, but oh man, the gameplay rocks.

You have to get the following titles :

Super Mario Sunshine

Eternal Darkness

Metroid Prime (This is the best game I have played in a long time, it really, really, kicks some major ass) Gamespot gave it a 9.7! http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters...447244,00.html

Mr friend who has one recommends metroid prime, super mario sunshine, super smash bros. melee... and the new zelda when it comes out

As for games, I already have Metroid and Smash Brothers (both AWESOME!)... maybe I'll grab Super Mario Sunshine and Eternal Darkness today and see how they are.

mine was stolen by a person i use to work with. all the sponsor contests for xbox's and shit i always try to win just so i can ask to have it replaced with a gamecube....alas, havent won one yet. :(

im currently playing the pre-ordered remix of Ocarina of Time until I get my hands on Windwaker..

yeap thats it...its pretty much the same as Ocarina except its a lot harder this time around...im trying to go through it without looking a the old players guide. After this it's on the the 3 new RPG's for the PS2 I havent even touched yet: Xenosaga, Dark Cloud 2 and Wild Arms 3..*sigh* it's hard to feed my passion when your pushin porn
