Mullets..a worrying trend

I am seeing an increasing number of hairstyles which are just glorified mullets. I saw two yesterday alone and all on teenage girls! This needs to be stopped before it goes too far. Even if by some stretch you could call these designer mullets stylish, once the trend gets translated back down to 'the masses' we are swimming in mullet land.

Are mullets creeping back into style where you live or is the UK the start of this horrid trend?

They never left the south and only partially left Nascar (drivers mostly).

Are you watching the new season of Survivor that just started a few weeks ago? There is an older women on the show that is a retired US Marine. She wears a bandanna and says she is the female Rambo so she calls herself Shambo. She has maybe the best female mullet I have ever seen.

If we get Survivor over here then I have never seen it. Honestly, never seen a single episode.

Now I am worried though that the female mullet is becoming a global trend.

female mullets are definitely popular among butch lesbians.

Davy 09-28-2009 05:28 AM

All those kids walking around with mullets look like total imbeciles.
It's a new generation. They don't have the negative connotations towards mullets that regular people have.

If all the teenage girls I see with them are lesbians then we are in for a population decline. Though, if we are going to take the mullet women out of the gene pool it might not be all that bad a thing.

I haven't seen any teenage girls with mullets around here. I'll have to keep my eye out to see if I notice any.

It's a shame, the hairstyle of so many teenage girls these days makes them look manly and retarted.
