I still find it interesting that for the most part, few have actually left the board and there are more posts/comments made about it elsewhere drawing attention back to GFY - what's the old saying, "there is no such thing as bad publicity"

I see a lot of people praying to whatever deity they pray to gfy fails so they can get 3 more posts a day. Lot of motives outside the "tubes are evil" stuff. Gee I've been preaching for years now about how they are hurting our industry and trying to get everyone united to put a stop to all the free content. All the sudden there is a shit load of people all up on the wagon. Fuckin lame, fuckin transparent, and fuckin pathetic imo.
So all these people self banning themselves.. are they going to try to come together to go after the tubes, or are they just crying and whining to seem important and jump on the latest trend? Gfy didn't create this current condition we have. They are a business. I didn't see many sponsors stepping up to skin the board as of late.
So content producers if the paysite model dies and the only one still buying content are tube sites will you turn them away? Thats what I thought. If a man is drowning in the desert and comes along to aquifer water bottles but he is opposed to their business practices do you think he will keep on walking looking for a different brand?
Ya right. There are only a few people that are protesting that have actual ethics. The rest are all bandwagon jumpers, or people with motives of their own. Most of them have stood by and said "content theft can't be stopped blah fuckin blah".
This biz makes me sick sometimes. :disgust Everyone enjoy patting each other on the back for "standing up to a cause" while you stood by and watched the environment create itself for the last 4 years. Now finally tube sites skin a board and OMG ITS REALITY. Foolish foolish foolish. How many of you "take a standers" laughed at me over the years when I kept saying something needed to be done? haha. Ya thats what I thought.
Then there are those that were lifetime banned from here out just giddy they have a chance to kick gfy back. How many of you have made fortunes due to this board? The info contained on it, the relationships made, etc? Now when gfy needed ad revenue to sustain itself the only one that would step up and skin the board was a traffic place that uses tube sites to get traffic.
How many of you get traffic from tube sites already in one way or another? Have biz relationships with them in one way or another? Good God the hypocrisy.
Rip on me if you want Im speaking the truth.
