One good day is enough to get you posting about how great they are, either you're paid, or you're a total ass.

If my host goes up and down for two weeks, well first off all I'd be long gone after one week, but assuming I wasn't, it would take a hell of a long time of perfect service before I started singing their praises. Get some self respect, and a new host.

Nick and the gang have been good to me, this is why I posted this tread. Not because I get free hosting(wish I did).

Every company has there ups and downs. Most of you guys say "I left Like Whoa for ******", lol. Did you do a search and see how many times the "other" hosting companies also had there downfalls.

Then you get the ones who spam the board claiming they are the best and truth is they are just resellers. A couple are actually resellers for Like Whoa.

Even with the past 2 weeks or crap, they still stand out as one of the industies top hosting companies.

I dont host all my sites there YET, but I assure I will :thumbsup .

Man, I'm glad I dont have any problems with my host... Webair is the BOMB when it comes to incredible uptime... I dont think I've ever actually be down with them come to think of it... fast ass pipe too! If you're having problems with your host, take a look at www.webair.com they are fucking awesome!

That's not true, Paparazzi. When one of my admins screwed up a database at 3 in the morning I was on the phone with a Webair support rep at 3:05am.

like whoa's customers ARE everybody's business unfortunately... there are many people who lost lots of money because of your downtimes... and there are affiliate programs *cough*soulcash*cough* who i wont send traffic too just because I cant rely on their network to be up as well as affiliates of ours who use your bandwidth and are unable to send traffic when your networks are down.

So pretending that anybody is just a "hater" is silly.

I've got boxes at hurricane, abovenet, verio (our primary mission critical host via http://www.mach10hosting.com ) and a few others that i cant remember off the top of my head... only host we ever had to leave was likewhoa. I'll never forget the moment that their techy guy Ben told me they wouldnt be able to reboot one of our machines til the next day cause they didnt have anybody at the noc...

If you pay your bills on time, a host should be a transparent part of your business and a valuable technical resource. That's why the really good hosting companies arent on boards being "hated".

It's one day of being up. Don't you find it odd that you are incredibly happy over one day of uptime? LOL

I waited hours in their "support chat" for someone to answer my questions...not a single answer

Hooper, out of respect for you as a previous client we choose not to respond directly to your allegations, but this is taking it too far. In direct response, I told you that we need some time to gain access to your boxes because they were IBM servers that required special keyboard/monitor attachments to manage them and you did not send them with your servers.

Additionally, your servers generated a flood of spam complaints which lead us to believe that you are running an illegal spamming operation that violated our AUP. Don't point fingers when your service isn't clean.

Hooper was a client of LWI and he expressed his oppinion about his experiences. It's correct for you to reply to the issue he was reffering to (you didn't have the keyboard, monitor, etc...) But the spam thing is completly irrelevant.
