Shit fuck, crap, got my car fucked up today

Went to a hockey game with my local team in the Elite Series (first home game for the season). When I get back to my car at the parking lot some fuckers had smashed in both passenger windows(rear and front), taken the player, the 2 amp's in the back and the sub. They also took the gearshifting stick's knob(why the fuck??). Fucking idiots.

Windy ride home and to spice things up I lost $300 on the game too since they played 1-1 when I was certain they were gonna win.

A car is considered totaled when the cost to fix it exceeds its current value. I was insinuating that , this being GFY, there was a chance that 2 glass windows were worth more than the entire vehicle. It was a joke though, no worries. Seriously though that is some bullshit man.

Sosa 09-24-2009 02:28 PM

Damn that really sucks. Your car gets busted into and you lost your bet.

Im not sure how the insurance companies are there but in the US if you can do it out of pocket, its better.

I had to replace the windshield on my truck in FL.. Rock broke it from a dump truck. So I call the INS company, and get it fixed. free fix under FL law. about 3 months later the truck gets hit. Call the ins company they fix it.. another rock about 5 months later cracks the shield again.. call the INS company they fix it.. 5 days later I get a notice of policy termination. I argue with them that the rocks are not my fault and that FL law requires the shield to be fixed and its a no deductible repair.. Still got screwed.

trust me. 1 k out of pocket is better.

Damn. I have had two windshields, a rear passenger window and the rear window replaced through my insurance and they haven't cancelled me yet. Of course I have one more windshield to replace so this may be the one to do it. What insurance company are you with?

Jade509 09-25-2009 12:40 PM
