But BMI is based only on aggregate statistical data, and is therefore not correlated to your 'body type'. In otherwords, I could be a lard ass or very muscular and still have the exact same height and weight. BMI wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

they don't have the 'cutpoints' right... it's different for males and females.
