I was buying ads, and I still buy ads on a regular basis. However all of the people bitching about tubes killing their traffic won't sell me ads. They also won't become my affiliate.

So what am I supposed to do? I want to buy your inventory but you won't sell it.
It's like you're RC cola and you want to maintain exclusivity. But Coke here will sell me their ads. Who am I going to give my money to?

No offense but you affiliates/webmasters who are crying about getting fucked over this - you brought it on yourself. There's dozens of buyers like me who just had nowhere else to go either because affiliates don't answer email, won't sell, won't sell skim or banners etc.

No sympathy - your business is dying because you got cocky, lazy, stupid or all of the above.

Oh Brad don't play that crap...... I had to turn to the "darkside" because the ppl on the "goodside" wouldn't let me in the door.

BS - if you respect the work and industry you are in you will not support a business model that steal content, etc from hardworking companies / webmasters.

It's really pretty simple.....

The traffic shift and growth of tubes didnt occur because of anyone buying ad space, its the fact surfers can get all that free content from the tubes. Its just a whored out method that is counter productive for the rest of the industry, but people will do anything to get their cut of the revenue....

adult IS the darkside, stealing content is a whole nother matter.

It's all about ethics in my opinion.... I mean I love the industry I have worked in for some 15 yrs... I have had tons of good times and also bad times but I have met tons of great ppl and companies in my time....

I can name lots who we have done 7+ figs over the years with and never once had a problem, issue regarding funds, etc
