I gotta pay my college tution for Spring

About $4000.

My great parents were going to pay it but the boiler broke at home and it will cost them $5000 to replace.

What is the fine for not filing a quarterly for LLC?

You're a weird guy ...

You're what? 19?

Don't buy that Mitsubishi you were taking a loan for and pay for college. There are more important things in life than a car if you need to take a loan for it.

If you cannot pay for it, don't buy it, that is my motto and it works best.

Seb From Holland 12-09-2002 03:41 PM

You almost sound like you are making sence, Naughty! :1orglaugh

I'm 18.

I CAN pay for all my expenses but like most people, I don't like spending money. I am BUYING the car in full later on this month (long story, *slightly* different car than the one I mentioned back in Augest) and I have had money set aside for it for a very long time.

I'm just a bit annoyed I gotta also pay for tuition. I think you'd be a tad upset if all the sudden you had to pay $3200 for an expense you thought was covered by someone else.

I also agree with your motto. Totally 100% agree.

hyper 12-09-2002 04:09 PM

yeah well

pay for your education first..

its more important than a car

get your friggin priorities straight

Simon-interaid 12-09-2002 04:09 PM

Hah,
You think you got it hard?

I pay $1200 / course.

Doing Cisco CCNA / A+ structured cabling and all that shit.

Its brutal if you ask me.

Pipecrew 12-09-2002 04:12 PM

My tuition is 5k a year

fortunately thats only like 3200 USD

Sappy 12-09-2002 04:19 PM

I have to pay $4500 Canadian a year for my university tuition. It's a bummer.

Jakke PNG 12-09-2002 04:25 PM

<BR>and when it's all over . . . you'll be able to spell tuition

hybrid 12-09-2002 05:25 PM

I hate it when people bitch when mommy and daddy won't pay their way.:waaaaahh

Suck it up. It's called "real life".

BTW, as far as i know, LLC's are'nt responsable for providing paper trails to the government. Therefore, no fine is applicable. You're thinking of "S" and "C" corporations. Unless it varies by state, in which case, I would be incorrect.

strobi 12-09-2002 05:26 PM

Just got my second masters degree... paid almost completly by myself... work hard don't sleep and you will get there :thumbsup

First off, if I had the money to afford it I wouldn't even allow my parents to think about paying my tuition.

And secondly, that's life man. Unexpected expenses happen ALL the time. Get used to it and ALWAYS have spare cash laying around. You never know when you'll need it...

i can think of several things you can do - particularly in Hawaii with its tourist traffic - but i doubt you'd like my suggestions.

Follow the hyper et al.s advice.

And definately don't ignore the 'stripper advice' either!
It may come as surprise to the straights in the audience but most of the strippers in gay bars are straight(at least in vancouver) and they make an absolute killing! I've know a few doctors/lawyers who paid their way through school doing that.

Pornwolf 12-09-2002 05:50 PM

Nothin wrong with being a male stripper.:glugglug

aflex 12-09-2002 06:07 PM

pay your own tuition, my tuition is near 16k a year at $395 per credit. i owe about 9k on student loans, but fuck it. its an education. if mommy and daddy cant pay it, do it yourself.

such a shame, take a student loan. my parents never paid a dime for my college tuition, i cant even believe people EXPECT it.

Simon-interaid 12-09-2002 06:13 PM

I've paid every cent since day 1.
:thumbsup

I just paid my fees the other day, they amount to just over $1500/year. Petrol and parking costs about $50 per week. It could be worse. :)

Theo 12-09-2002 06:19 PM

forget the mitsuibishi, education is more important in your age
