Anybody use one of the wordpress tube plugins?
 

Rather than one of the more 'normal' tube scripts? I am thinking of turning some of my lesser trafficed blogs into tube style sites with sponsor content. Are any of those wp plugins/templates any good. If so, which are you using? I think I have seen two out there. Are there more?

there was a guy selling wordpress themes in the buy and sell awhile ago and they were pretty popular and I think Fris was designing one too

I had a play around with a couple of them and they were so buggy and annoying I got fed up and gave up not much help really tho :error

parking myself here for now, I have a few blogs this might work for IF there's something worth it out there.

just use an ad plugin mixed with a video plugin

Is it that hard in WP?? fuck takes me one minute to do the same in textpattern.... custom banners per video and so forth....

Just this week I setup a tube on wp running the theme from this site: freewptube.com

It's a bit naff to initially deal with and there is no auto import feature. But once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to deal with.

I use that tube theme too for a couple of sites. The owner already made another awesome free theme.It isn`t list on that site , but if you contact him it will send it to you via email.

I will ask my designer if she has anythign. Might do the same with my splogs.

Looks nice man.. WP is finally starting to come around it seems. It used to be pretty damn boring for site designs, but they have really started improving the CMS ability of it lately.

I am going to try tubetheme today. Are there any that let you mass import rather than make one post at a time?

This is the issue I have at the mo... There is a csv import plugin, I guess you would have to u/l all the flvs, write posts with the embed code then import...

Yeah..the one I installed looked fine but it would have been just as much work as running the actual blog..plus my past posts didn't get translated automatically. Which, would have meant going into hundreds of back posts to make them work with the script.

I'm, for long time now, heavy user of the JW player, that have, for itself, several plugins and skins. All this combo can be, in a very smooth way, placed inside a wordpress via the Word Tube plugin:

Apart from the chatcam thing, I have already use and tested this solution, includding Vimeo inside the JW player (yeah, craze, I know. but works wonders) and it have never failed on me.
