20 mins now. Gotta love having to pause campaigns

We have a provider circuit flapping causing some network issues on certain routes. We're aware of it and should have it resolved as we're working on removing that provider.

Yes, the network is down at this time. I am sure Nat Nat will post an update when they have more info.

You guys should have never moved !!!!!!!!

All sites are down (again!). They are one of the most expensive hosts and I have to admit their excellent support justifies that somehow, but they are very often down lately. The least thing they should do is to give us some kind of a compensation for that (and be online again in no time of course!)

The problem with BGP is while it's a good protocol, it doesn't handle BGP flaps well. We removed the offending provider manually and we won't bring them back up until testing shows that the flapping has been corrected. Our apologies for the issue

lalalala
|
what was down?
|
What is flapping
|
flapping is when a circuit goes up and down in rapid succession. BGP will automatically roll traffic to another provider if it sees a circuit go down, but if it flaps like that, BGP gets confused and does not roll the traffic. Any traffic on those circuits are affected which means that about 40% of our traffic could not go anywhere until we manually removed the provider

"Natnet" and "down" are not words you usually hear together in the same sentence, unless it's something like "dude we really got down at that Natnet party at internext"
