Anyone have Verizon and the Blackberry Tour?
 

The Alltel = Verizon deal will finally be finished here next month so I'm finally going to be picking up a couple new phones. Anyone using the Blackberry Tour with Verizon and if so, have you been able to teether it to macbook by chance? I'm hoping i can do that to check in on things like icq/email as I have some travel days coming up.

I'm hoping not to have to buy the aircard and another $60 service a month just to use the damn thing.

i tether my storm with tetherberry for no extra fee from verizon i just paid for the software once.

look on the blackberry forums for tethering software for your phone.

i have the tour & verizon...had the curve previous to the tour....i have been able to add all my IMs and a few new ones like Google Talk...which i never used until this phone...checking email hasnt been an issue but sadly im PC and only now heading Mac way...as for checking email, no prob...from work emails to yahoo emails...all worked for me

overall i like the Tour except that the trackball doesnt like to move the cursor as well...even after you change the sensitivity and all...oh well..cant have everything...yet
