That is insane.

At first I was thinking that they must have had an empty ship coming up and wanted to fill it.

Then I noticed that it includes all of the amenities regular cruises would (food, entertainment, etc.) ... and they'll be taking a huge loss on each and every passenger.

I was thinking that would be the kick in the ass. Tempting deal otherwise, those are some desinations I've never hit up in the past.

They will nickel and dime you to death. Though in this case, the nickels and dimes are piece of paper with 5 and 10 on them. :winkwink:

Also, note that the $399 is for an interior cabin. If you like sleeping in a windowless metal box, you go for it. Personally, I'll never take a cruise again that does not include a balcony.

Book it as return and the price goes down with something like 50-80% :winkwink:

I can sleep in a closet when it comes to a cruise...the ONLY reason that I would be in my cabin is to sleep and wash my ass.....

They do this because their ships do the european route in the summer and Caribbean circuit in the winter. They need to bring the ship back and pay the crew to be on it regardless, this probably covers the cost.

You can barely do THAT in an inside cabin washroom. But I get what you're saying.
