I HIGHLY recommend the Logitech G9 Laser mouse, it's the best mouse you'll ever use :) This one is corded, but that's how I like my mice.

I was going to get it, but read somewhere that there is a "bug", apparently you can't map the middle button on top, so it works like a normal middle button... did they ended up fixing that?

boneless 09-14-2009 12:08 PM

logitech cordless optical mouse, prolly the most simple version they got, as it fits my lefthanded lifestyle.

edit been using it for allmost 5 years now.

Slick 09-14-2009 12:26 PM

I know it might sound like a stupid question, but why do people love cordless mice so much ?? I know for those that can work away from their system would be one reason, but I'm sure most of you probably use the mouse right on side of your computer, so why would you want/need cordless ??? I like the fact that my mouse will never run out of battery life and it always has a perfect connection to my pc, that's why I love a corded mouse, just curious as to why you'd want cordless, enlighten me, ha ha, maybe there's something I'm missing.

I have a corded system right now but I am going to go cordless for my next computer. It would be nice for my laptop I use now because I usually disconnect from my desk and take it to another room a couple times a day. Would be nice to have to disconnect one less cord.

I am going to order an IMac next and it's so compact it would be nice to have no wires on it. Just to clean up my desk area.

Battery life and any connection issues would be an extra hassle but I think it would be worth it.

Simple normal mice.

On PC just a regular Dell mouse.

On Mac, just a regular old Mac mouse.

Logitech G5. Ignore the horrible colouring.

Have had 3 Razer mice, only 1 still works. Will never ever buy one again. lightweight cheap shit.

I used the G5 for gaming, and haven't done so for 2 years, but it's still superb. Weight it to your desire, perfect size for your hand unless you're some kind of ape.

Adraco 09-15-2009 04:01 AM

+1

For Logitech overall and MX Revolution in particular. I love the Bluetooth functions and it works for weeks without charging the batteries in the included cradle.

I have this for my laptop http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi.../3271&cl=US,EN and its the mutts nuts feels great in the hand not too heavy or to light battery lasts for ages its so accurate thanks to its friggin lasers and the dongle receiver is so tiny it barely sticks out the usb I highly recommend this mouse to anyone :thumbsup

Where in Sydney are you Zorgman? I'm in the E Suburbs, shortly moving into a house I bought down the coast.

I want your tubescript, but need to put some more thought into a project for it.

HomerSimpson 09-15-2009 05:26 AM

pick some logitech cordless laser that fits your hand nice (yes just like the boobs, not too big not too small) and you'll be happy with it...

don't forget some good pad... I use Cooler Master alu, double sided laser mouse pad and it's fuckin' gr8....

Never had a problem mapping buttons. Although they haven't updated the drivers for Snow Leopard yet. (Holding off upgrading until that's done)
