Can anyone recomend a Plugin that charges per gig instead of per month?

i am thinking of starting a chiapet content plugin.. think about how well that can keep a member on live.. per minute at .99 x 3 months straight?!?!? bling bling

We charge by gig....we have a monthly fee as well but its really about how many gigs you buy in advance. We've got 6 plugins going right now, 3 more coming up in the next two months, as well as lease galleries.

I'm also having problems accessing parts of your site, and I'm getting a 404 page after submitting info on your contest page.

EVERYBODY is charging by the bandwidth used, other than the cost of producing/buying the content, that's the only other significant cost to the plugin provider.

What is the range of prices being charged for plugin video content? I see everything from 3 bucks per GIG up to $20 per GIG!

i checked AEBN a few weeks ago, i think it was 4 or 5 dollars a gig, maybe cheaper for volume customers.

You need to factor in how many plugins and downloadable content the site has.

Number of members is not enough info.

California pimp stuff is premium quality so it would eat more bw than the filler crap type plugins.

yup, good points. better the content, more bandwidth used. amount of content the site has besides your plugin also very important.

which is why everybody whether they say it or not is charging by bandwidth usage. Though some people do go by flat rate and let bigger customers basically be subsidized by their smaller customers. Guess it's no different than any other business, big volume customers get deep discounts while the little guy pay full freight.
