I think that people are more concerned with their version of being right so much, that they loose the ability to see how they look to others.

I am guilty of that at times. Especially when i have a strong opinion on something. But i do not think i have ever seriously embarrassed myself as i have seen others do. I also know that none of my posts or comments have ever effected my reputation or my ability to do business with my GFY peers.
