What % of the time are you in a paid chat (you know where the customer is paying 4$/min)

I don't think there is many, if any at all, webcam girls posting on GFY. If there are, I would like to see who they are and some pic too please :-).

Hi Jay , when we ran a full time studio here the aim was for each girl to do 40 min paid chat per hour....(working on streamray/cams.com ) dunno what other girls/studios aim for.

Thats a 66% utilization which is a very good number. A eastern European based operater said its 10 min per hour.

Well we used expensive webcams ( sony pan and tilt/zoom $1,300 each ) ,high speed connections...all girls fully trained and with different outfits ...nurse...etc ..all this makes a difference.....all i can say is that is what we aimed for and did ...(so you know whats possible).

For the first 3 years, between 30-40% in pvt was my average. When I was at webcams, it was more like 80%. Now at Streamate, I usually spend about 10 mins in freechat for every 6 hour shift I do, and when I am in group chat I have 1-15 guys in there at once, usually 2-3. But I have 5 years of devoted regulars that keep me in pvt all night that's why :)

Why do you ask? It's def gna vary website to website, but when I Worked for a site that kept track of that kinda stuff in the stats pages I told my new girls they should shoot for 30%+ in pvt.

LOL there are some cam girls that post here but you are right, not many. I've been a cam girl for 5 years but didn't start coming here until I opened my solo site.

I spend 50-60% of my time in private shows. Unlike Aaliyah, im very new to cams, but have already gotten a nice lil bunch of 'groupies' who have followed me as Ive found the sites I plan to stick with (streamate, imlive) My goal is to spend no more than 10min per hour in free chat and the rest of the time in private or group shows- but some days traffic just sucks more than others, and im also in a niche category so I dont get the bulk of the traffic that other girls do.

10 mins per hour is not that bad for eastern eurpoean studio girls... most of them type:

hey bb
you like bb
go to pay bb

etc...

same goes for most asian studios.

They never develop regulars. The good girls who can hold a convo in english, take quality pictures, entertain their viewers and build up a regular base will spend less time sitting around waiting for people to come in. It helps to stay busy when you turn the cam on when you have 20+ guys who stop in a couple times a week to see you and its nothing for them to stayin there for 30-60 minutes each time.

some of us guys are qualified to answer the questions too :winkwink: but i wont be sending anyone naked pictures lol.

if I make my rate $4-5 i am in chat 45 minutes out of 1 hour

10 minutes an hour at say $2/min (to the studio) is $20 an hour... that's considered acceptable? How much do they pay the models?

I am working with a company to get a cam software on lease bases and they want to get paid only when a cam model is in private.

In group chat do you see 6 guys as an average ?
