Likewise:( Though honestly, I didn't really understand the extent of his significance until some time later....I was a little slow on the uptake with the Beatles LOL

I can still remember the sit-in my parents took me to when that happened, I was 5.

It was really strange sitting in a park at night, candles lit, with a bunch of adults crying.

It was just really sad.

As somebody who bought the first Doors record, on vinyl - when it was a brand fucking new release - I find it very annoying that they're using Doors music in Disney movies now. Don't know why, but it bothers me more than hearing Who music in Cadillac commercials.

his Plastic Ono Band album was one of the first records i listened to as a kid and it really had a big influence on how i saw the world from then on.
