i know multiple people who were affected, change your root passes if you think you got hit.

i forget if u can link to mainstream forums but this is urgent for anyone who hasnt seen it and is having similar probs so i hope mods understand.

I posted the solution for this here. If you follow the instructions at DP (as usual, pure crap) you'll end fucked double anal by Blackzilla and Whitezilla since the infection spreads in your server and uses hidden files. In VPS, it even infects other accounts. And even if you clean your PC and your server, you need to have the most updated versions of Flash and Acrobat, a really good antivirus (ie: NOT NORTON!!!) and avoid downloading warez and stuff. I just smirk every time idiots download the latest piece of software filled with all kind of trojans and then they wonder how they got infected :1orglaugh

If you're still using ftp you need to skip ahead to the now...

rsync, sftp, scp: learn them, love them ;)
