So I have a stupid computer question.. well a browser issue
I like yahoo web mail.. But it has this god damned ad script that freezes the browser for a few seconds and results in the choice of stopping the script or cancelling.
Well I got this addon called Yescript and I've used it to block their god damned ad script and it still fucking does it I've blocked amp.yahoo.com, mail.yahoo.com, mail.yimg.com,yahoo.com,yimg.com itself, I've tried blocking them with and without www Is there some kind of god damned fucking magic fucking spell I need to use over here? It's similar to this: "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: http://mail.yimg.com/d/combo?/mg/6_0_18/js/yui_utils.js&/mg/6_0_18/js/core.js&bc/bc_2.0.4.js&/mg/6_0_18/js/darla.js&/mg/js/20071101/uni_header.js&/mg/6_0_18/js/async.js&/ult/ylc_1.9.js&/mg/6_0_18/js/imboot.js&:1" The whole god damned fucking browser FREEZES for at least a few seconds before you can stop the script.. When using firefox and checking my e-mail from my (slower) laptop, the god damned fucking whole fucking thing locks up for at least thirty seconds because of this |
I think it's also the mobile text chat applet on the side that causes problems too. Every so often my browser hangs up when I enter the mail page.
