People knowledgeable about MOBILE programs / trends, let's see some figures
Less than 0.3% of my traffic to one of my bigger sites comes from PDA / Handheld devices.
This is hardly worth me having a mobile version of the site made (yet). So when are things expected to take off? These are real stats taken from last month: http://www.redlightcenter.tv/mobi.gif I'd like to see some facts, figures and forecasts please. |
What stats program is that? Because that doesn't look accurate. If that is an older stats program that does not include some of the newer browser agents, I would guess that Safari is wrapping upthe iPhone/iPod traffic which is a huge majority of it. Set up analytics and I bet you'll be looking at 2-5% instead.

AWStats - any idea what's a better stats program to use these days? AWStats is really long in the tooth, and is sadly lacking in many areas.

I don't really touch those script based stats anymore, Analytics blows them all away... so I really have no idea what would work well as a stand-alone.
|
I was just gonna say It, the safari one could very well be 1/3 mobile traffic.
