Anyone here seriously working adult ppc programs as a publisher?
 

Never really heard of anyone talk about it. Is nobody doing it, or the ones who do just never talk about it?

What are expected ranges per click to be paid? Who's the best paying contextual advertisers in adult?

I tried the largest one out there on a site that gets over a million visits per month, and in a week's trial giving it a good portion of the exposure, they were lucky to earn me $3 per day.

That same site now pulls in around $2000-$3000 per month on banner ads for sponsors.

I found it a total and utter waste of time.

There might be sites it works better on, but didn't work for me.

like CunningStunt said they pay ridiculously low...

The combination PPC and adult has always been shit for affiliates :)

ya i looked over a couple today, and the pay per click is sickening. not worth it unless you can pull some highpaying clicks. i guess publishers have far greener pastures on the mainstream side when it comes to ppc...

the $ is in selling ads not the PPC. I did reasonably well with adbrite/adengage. the per click was shit (.02c) but selling ads was delicious.

PPC is pretty much dead especially in adult. If you have anything making any real money it won't for long as the advertisers and/or the program will shave the earnings down. An example is one were we are getting around 50% CTR on and was averaging about $.25 a click for a "few days" then all of a sudden it's $.02 a click.

Maybe it is better to lower your CTR, 50% is very higher. Get some traffic to lower it .

It really depends on the traffic and what site you are running.

I know a lot of webmasters with free/dump/trade sites that have a lot of traffic (200,000ish uniques daily) that make shit trying to convert their banners into sales.

Some of them i got to use the "no worries" program which pays per raw click and they are making anything from 20-200usd per day just from ppc. Not costing them 1 adspot extra.

I dont think its that easy to just say ppc isnt paying, it depends on a lot of factors.

- Sites traffic.
- Sites model.
- How many clicks you can generate.

You can send 20k se-typeins through a fakeplayer banner and make nothing, or do the same and make a nice amount. Same with ppc. But with ppc you dont have to worry about sales.

I would recommend everyone that has conversions going to the bottom of the ocean to give it a try. If they dont like it, they can always get back to trying to catch some sales :)

Small ppc company maybe have lower bid than adense, but It less strict than adense. if you use fakeplayer banner for adense, you will be banned. But more small ppc company will not.

I worked with FPCtraffic which pays like 1 or 2 cents per click.

Avnads.com - about the same thing - 1 or 2 cents per click.
