nocostporn 12-08-2002 05:02 AM

5 years ago I was 14 making you guys money with pops card... hug me

Dugmor 12-08-2002 05:02 AM

things are about the same........ but I have to work harder .

Jakke PNG 12-08-2002 05:04 AM

Well..
I can't answer that really.
I was doing this in 96, but I had no fucking clue for like 5 years. I just did things my way.. didn't work out too well either. I didn't know jack shit about networking, or BBS's.. I had to do everything by myself. I regret that... if I'd started to do what I started a few years back, I'd do much better. But My income has multiplied several times over during the last year or so.. and still looking good. I'm happy. I won't be retired in a year though :thumbsup

I like now the best. I had my first site in 98 and it got 50 hits a day!

Actually now is more exciting because you really need to be creative to make good $$ these days. I just saw an ad for Police porn....lol

jimmyf 12-08-2002 05:07 AM

2 or 3 years ago was better

theking 12-08-2002 05:16 AM

I entered the porn business something over six years ago. For the first couple of years I didn't make what I would consider to be large sums of money. I finally took the plunge and invested a substantial sum of money and after a couple of tries found a manager that knew what he was doing (if not for that I would have gone under) and how to get things done. The money began to come in and continued to grow. When I sold the business a few months ago it was making hugh sums of money and I still receive a percentage of the income for X number of years. Bottom line answer, the business at the time of the sale was making a thousand fold over what it did approximately four years ago. Future growth is still existent, but the pie may spoil at some point in time, for a variety of reasons.

97/98 - Oh the searchengines were so easy.

boneprone 12-08-2002 05:24 AM

There's no question it was EAISER to make money 4 years ago.

But there's also no question that if you work for it and have the attitude "you get out of it what you put into it" now days you can still do well.

It may not be "easy money" anymore, but there still is "a lot" of money to be easily made.

TheFLY 12-08-2002 07:11 AM

When Amateur Pages first came out I was kicking ass :thumbsup

superweb 12-08-2002 07:31 AM

Golden times before 99. Too easy to submit into yahoo, google, and everywhere that times. No work -> lot of money!

TheFLY 12-08-2002 08:01 AM

But profit is profit to me, so it's always "about the same" -- I'm still TheFLY and not TheFLY 2.0 MX PRO.

Westin 12-08-2002 08:48 AM

I was making more $$$, working less, and didn't have ANY of the knowledge of the biz that I've got in the last 5 years...

but I'm working harder and making less ... HAHA something is wrong here!

God damn, well look at that, never fucking fails. The magical 20-80 rule right on the money. Hehehe

OK the secret goes like this:

DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP.

Bill makes the formula so easy to see yet so few see it.

Fucking amazing.

To all in the 20% Club :thumbsup

If you continue to create new ideas and grow then you will make more money. The main reason why people are complaining is due to them sitting back on their laurels and thinking that it is easy money. They have got into a 'safe' zone and do not want to take risks anymore. Think about it 5-6 years ago when the Internet was new no-one knew where it was going so it was a massive risk for those people that dropped everything and ploughed al their efforts into something that may not have paid...and for some it didnt....For every sucess story I bet there are plenty more failures..

If you're so smart, then why are you such a big asshole? Your program sucks ass... I like Rule #4 -- you're fucking retarded just like ARS. So if you are paying a webmaster $1000's, and one of your spam emails bounces, you are going to delete the affiliate's account and not pay?

"4. All incomplete information will be deleted. If your email address is invalid, all account information will be deleted. "

You motherfucking prick.

I still find this business incredibly easy. I started late...May, 2000. Made $1,400 my first month...By July, I was making $3,000. By September $6,700 and by December $12,300 per month. Plus, I keep a full-time mainstream business...and I insist on a level of honesty from the companies I sponsor that in itself puts the brakes on even higher earnings...so, if it was even easier in years gone by...wow..that's all I can say...

strobi 12-08-2002 09:46 AM

got my first adult website in beginning of 1996.... got 800 SE hits/day made me half a K/month without work !!! :D but still the good days are not over yet!!!

Minte 12-08-2002 11:58 AM

It peaked in 1999..of course I worked harder then...

[The Leader] 12-08-2002 03:36 PM

It was way easier to make money back then, but my bottom line is higher now. I didn't put nearly as much time and resources into adult stuff back then. I probably should have.
