Adsense announces faster filtering and increased the number of sites you can add to your filter list.

although can you filter out advertisers who're not specifically targeting your site?

yep i've used filtering to make sure clickthroughs go up on my targeted ads

Step 1: Log in to adsense

Step 2: Go to www.google.com/adsense/site-targeted-ad-review

Step 3: check the categories of ads you don't want
