A warning to anyone running a wordpress site
 

a few days ago had a couple of my blogs wiped and when i went to the url it took me to the wp install page. it was kind of weird. host said it was a hack. of course the wordpress forum was useless as they have their heads in the sand about wp hacks and vulnerabilities.

ive never had a wp install hacked

you have ninja powers. us mere mortals aren't so lucky.

I have now had two of my wordpress sites hacked...mostly my own fault for not keeping the software up to date and having norton security on my pc which did not pick up maleware

The moral of the story...Keep your PCs clean and your software up to date

That's why I wait some time to upgrade things whatever they are programs on my PC or blogsoftware, Everything needs to be ironed out first
