There was a big one burning down in the Shaolhaven of NSW a few days ago when the winds were blowing. Summer is not looking good.

I just saw a show on nat-geo where bushmen were fire hunting. I wonder how many times that causes massive fires?

Saw on the news about a week ago that some parts of NSW and Queensland hit an unseasonably high 38C / 100F and people were at the beach... still in winter... I think that was the day that a lot of the fires started.

Meanwhile Melbourne was being belted with storms: high winds, a shitload of rain, and a top of something like 15C / 59F.
