ps...if it makes you want to go the mobile route...check sig for mobile domains lol......

There are quite a few companies at the mobile conference that I met that develop apps. Keep in mind it can be quite expensive, there were quite a few outsourced app companies from india you might be better off to go with.

Getting your app into the app store might be another story though...

Why in the fuck does anyone even think you need a special domain just for a fucking format. Think people get on their phones and suddenly think oh yea its .mobi or whatever now. NO! they still think .com like we all do. If it is compatible you know pretty fast on your phone.

Well i cant predict the future ?

Dot com will always be king but as of late more and more people are now using the country extensions such as .ca and co.uk etc to seperate/filter what they want.... maybe this trend over time will result in television programmes using .TV and dedicated mobile sites using .mobi or .coms in which the term iphonesex (example) will help instantly indicate to the user that its more tailored to thier needs.... :)

if i today saw 2 sites ..gfy and gfymobile guess which one i would check out on my mobile phone first ? and remember not all surfers are techs and dont know that sites can be made to recognise different applications .....

appwizard is bs and a scam.

I have 6 books on how to code the apps and joined the Apple Iphone Developer program. It takes some learning but I am getting there.

Let me know how it goes! I have a few simple apps I am looking to develop with my soft content :thumbsup

I have an app developer working on an app for me now. Its not hard but you do need all the necessary developer's software to get it done correctly.

NaughtyRob 10-08-2009 09:59 PM

Not hard if you already know C++ so that you can learn Objective-C. Hard if you dont.

Even in 2020 the webmasters decide how shit is displayed.
Assuming it was all true, why not just expand your own domain. mobile.gfy.com tv.gfy.com etc.

I can't speak on their behalf. Contact them, if proposal is good i'm sure they will consider it. :2 cents:
