Miranda Internet messenger
 

Do you know this software? Do you use it? I can have many different plugins and I can have friends from different messenger types (like aim, msn, icq) on one contact list. But the software is absolutely shitty and pisses me off, are there any replacement for miranda?

I would go with Trillian :)

You can get your own messanger for ICQ,AIM,MSN, etc custom coded from a freelancer for around $150-200 that will do everything you need. I have a few coder friends that could do this for you if your interested.

I using miranda moded and it's work perfectly fine.Pidgin and trilian are crap.

I used to run trillian but changed over to miranda a couple of years ago and it does everything I need really.

There is a lot of messengers that support many IM protocols, try them and choose one that fits your needs :)

Big advantage of Miranda is it's PORTABLE. No install, just copy to the new computer and you are ready to go.

miranda-im = great.

Pidgin or Digsby are worth checking out. One thing to note with Digsby is during the install make sure you decline the 3rd party crap it offers you.

I used Miranda back in the day, but haven been using Pidgin.IM for a few years now.
