History Kill sales

I'm sure it's been asked before, but is anyone pushing HistroyKill on their sites?
Inside the members area, or outside?
And do you make any cash from it?

About 1:75 ... watch out for entire days worth of downloads
going missing, either having program problems or they've
realized that it just isn't selling anymore. Wish I had of
screen captured, but the days were end of Nov beginning
of Dec.

Also remember if you're going to push a cookie killer,
you DO NOT want to promote anything that uses cookies.
ie ANY site that uses a 3rd party processor.

whole days missing... like the stats are there one day, and then gone the next? or they just don't record anything for a specific day?

either way, that's fucked...

but they pay out on time and all that?

always on time

Yah 1 day they're there, then they're not.

Never had a problem with payments.

Also remember that using a sponsor that *just* uses cookies to credit sales to you, is really stupid. Count on 30-35% of your traffic going to waste..

Best thing to do is disable cookies and try to join through your link code. If you don't get credit, then drop the sponsor.

They always paid me on time, less for October, I'm still waiting for this last check so far, but it will probably arrive.
When I sent 2 messages twice about a decrease in my sales (i.e. many days with no sale), I had replies after about 1 week, so a bit late.
When I saw HK first, I thought it was going to be a great program for me, with 15 days free evaluation of the software, a price of $39.95 and a webmaster payout of $12, it sounded like an easy to sell product, but it was not like that. From 800-1000 downloads (not clicks!) a month, I had about 14 sales at the most ($168) - from a blurred entrance console and a FPA with SE traffic. I don't find it satisfactory.
Btw, I met 3 people from HistoryKill (Swanksoft), including its president, at a party at the Internext in Florida, this August. They said they were working on a more "intelligent" software version.
Overall, they have paid me on time, less the last month pay (October) and they are ok, not extraordinary, but ok even compared with other similar programs I used.

psyko514, I hope this was useful for you, as your posts about chargebacks were useful for me - it was the most interesting thread on this board so far. :thumbsup

I've been promoting this since January. They have always paid me on time, every month. It's a minor sponsor on some extreme niche sites of mine. Extreme niche surfers are paranoid surfers, so they like it.

I just did a quick calculation and over the last year I have averaged 1 sale for every 26 free downloads.

It sold better back at the beginning of the year, as you might expect. However sales are up right now--my guess is that guys are cleaning up the computer before the relatives come to visit :Graucho

I have 1 sale every 11 downloads. If they didn't have free downloads im sure they wouldn't convert that good
