Best Sushi place in/around Los Angeles
I might be visiting soon and wanted to goto a really good place. Price doesn't matter.
Favorites? |
Stay away from the trendy spots like KOI and Katsuya....
Especially since Katsuya went big they turned into the shite! There are some really stellar places for sushi...they are Ultra hard to get into (Some with no name or sign on the bldg) but I wont post those secret spots here...pm me if you want the address and info. |
Matsuhisa is still the best (IMHO)
|
I recommend SHU

i've eaten at the spot bd mentions and it is terrific. it's not the experience of koi or katsuya but terrific food. but it's not $250 like koi can be for 2 people.

I like Oomasa in Little Tokyo. It is a little too Japanese for most gaijin.
