Do you think this game promotes animal cruelty or do you think it would encourage youngsters to be cruel to cats.

Im asking because I had a complaint from some animal lover that this game should be removed from the site as it teaches kids to be cruel to animals.

I think if a kid is old enough to play the game he should be able to understand right from wrong and know that you do not throw kittys around in real life.

So should I remove the game or just let it be ?

I find it pretty sad when I get a complaint about a silly cat game on the site, yet you can play other games and shoot/blowup people and nobody complains about it, hell even some of the xbox games are more bloody and violent than this :(

It's a fucking video game for god's sakes. You should just remind this person that out of the dozens of studies that have been done, not ONE has linked video games to violent behavior. Like you said, it's just a silly game and you'd have to be an idiot to believe otherwise, because kittens do not bounce that high.

I love animals especially cats but this is just a game. It's not a grotesque PETA ad or something that makes you sick to look at. I'd say it's fine.

I have decided to leave the game up and send an email explaining that the game is in no way harmful to animals. Kids/adults who play "shooting/killing" games do not act out in real life what they play or see at movies.
If a person is going to be cruel to animals a game would be no influence. Any person who does carry out such acts obviously have mental issues and I can not see the link between animal cruelty and playing a game.

I'm less concerned about the cruelty to cats angle...

But more concerned about the amount of fucking phone boxes getting in my way...
