Yeah, noticed that myself. Part of the playing around was to test the site as well. Wondering if it is the hi-def that is slowing it down.

Used a different bike (no windshield this time) to see if the wind is screwing with things. Seems to have lost sound.

Back to the manual I guess.

what you need to do about the sound is ,,, get like a fluffy girls sock(my girlfriend has these special extra fluffy ones that I have in mind) or something to muffle the air current...

Of course it would have to be well intact so it dont fly off in flight...

I dunno just and idea... We gotta be able to listen to the awesome hwy tunes :thumbsup

You need to stop turning your head and stop looking at your mirrors. It makes me dizzy.

I have a feeling that if it muffles the wind it is going to muffle the music as well. :upsidedow

Should make for a nice crash video.

J. Falcon 08-27-2009 11:43 AM

That was pretty cool.

What brand camera is it? I've been record my rides since I got a motorcycle

Lace 08-27-2009 11:51 AM

Should have looked into a tank suction cam. Old roommate of mine had one - definitely less noise and alot steadier IMO.

Edit - http://www.stickypod.com/motorcycle_camera_mount.html this one I think. & maybe it wasn't too much quieter on the wind noise. lol but steadier

No way. Would not work on the dresser and if I was going to do it on the Night Train (second video) I would just ty-wrap it to the handlebar clamps. Problem with that is that it is only going to shoot one direction so if I see something cool along the side of the road I can't shoot it. Additionally, I suspect it would bounce with every flaw in the road.

I will be experimenting more, and would not mind a better mount, but that one has zero redeeming qualities that I can see.
