Glenn Quinn dead at 32
What a shame for anyone to die at only 32 years. He's an actor, played Mark on Roseanne and Doyle on Angel.
|
ah damn,he was cool on Roseanne...what happened?
|
i dont remember him, damn, cruel to die that early :(
|
Glenn who? and sorry for his family, but who gives a fuck? How many thousands of people die every day, that had less going for them, or mor even, that just plain died. No one mentioned them on a bbs anywhere.
Because this guy was on Roseanne we are supposed to care? Sorry, not from this computer. |

Because he was on Roseanne, people are supposed to care ? No numbnuts.. no one said anything about whether or not you give a damn that Glenn Quinn died. It was a newsworthy item and thats why it gets posted. No one gives a shit if you liked the guy or not. A 32 year old celebrity died, and people post about it. Now, run along over to the Winona Ryder thread so you can post about all the people who shoplift and get probation and why you should care about that one. |
Glenn who?

Celebrities are like normal people, only better..
Being a celebrity doesn't make it newsworthy you fucking product of popculture.. It only makes it more interesting to fucking morons who lack confidence and a feeling of self-importance and need to be involved in some movie stars life.. It is on par with the same reason that religion exists.. People need some stupid means to justify their lives and get them through the day.. Power to you Bad Dog you hit the nail on the head.. this fucking civilisation is going to be in this fucking trashcan until we start to see the bigger picture.. In a world where people are mourning over a celebrity's death, or over making the biggest deal in the world over the fucking Muslim terrorists when you have over 1/2 the worlds population(that is over 4 BILLION folks) suffering and dying in 3rd world countries you know something is wrong.. look outside the fucking box |
Much more important passings if you ask me:
Roone Arledge, who transformed American television by infusing dramatic story lines, star personalities and vivid graphic presentations into the disparate realms of news and sports, died Thursday in New York City of complications from cancer. He was 71. There wasn't enough room in Ray Wallace's grave for him and his hoax, so now the truth is out: Bigfoot didn't exist. Philip B. Meggs, who wrote the first definitive history of graphic and advertising design from the beginning of the written language through the printing press and on to the computer, has died. He was 60. Henry Chauncey, who as founder of the Educational Testing Service played a pivotal role in the rise of standardized testing in college admissions, died Tuesday at his home in Shelburne, Vt. He was 97 and died of natural causes. Edgar P. "Ed" Beardsley, 61, who was credited with founding a Little League division for children with disabilities, died Tuesday at a hospital in Bristol, Conn. The cause of death was not announced. |

Now you want to compare whose death is more important ? More important to who ? More newsworthy ? Is it a contest to you ? Will it make you feel important if your dead person is more newsworthy than the one I mentioned ? What makes you think I give a damn ? If it means that much to you fuckwit, start another thread and post your daily obits so you can share with everyone who dies that YOU care about if it makes you feel better. |

Should I bring a package to the party tomorrow and a contract for you to sign? If you want to set a time and place, I can have news crews ready and make it really newsworthy. |

mental midget? my, you have really got me there. You give a rat's ass about some no name, wannabe actor, but I am a mental midget because I don't care? or because I took the time to read your post? I was once accused of being an intellectual terrorist in a letter to the Calif Dept of Insurance, but a mental midget . . . . nah, this is a first. I am hurt. . . .did you used to blow this guy or something? |
Did I hurt your feelings ? Did I make you cry ? You don't get it and I don't think you ever will. You keep adding the word "care" into the mix, and it's never been an issue except to you.
It was just a post. If it didn't fit your criteria for what a good post at GFY should be, tough shit. Go fuck yourself, mental midget. |
Which one was Mark on Rosanne?....and don't say the guy Glenn Quinn played...

Since we're all in the contributing mood:
"Veteran animator William Henson, who helped create Chip 'n Dale, Rocky the flying squirrel and his sidekick Bullwinkle the moose, died earlier this week after being hit by a pickup truck in suburban Dallas, the Reuters news service reported. He was 78." Where is Moose and Squirrel? |
I thought Glenn Quinn was an excellent actor. Pity.

baddog dont be a cock,I'm not distraught to say the least over the guy dying but a person seen by a few million people dies,I think SOMEBODY would want to know... I could give two shits about the hun but if he died I'm sure there would be a thread about it ... oh wait this is GFY,we only discuss business and topics pertaining to the industry :1orglaugh RIIIIGHT
and how is a goof that created baseball leagues for retarded kids worthy of a GFY thread and this goon isnt? and can somebody tell me how the motherfucker died?!?!? lol |
Lots of people die. That doesn't make it less of a shame when someone dies, does it? We feel sad when someone we know dies, even someone we don't know well. Likewise, a celebrity is someone we know a little about, and recognize. As such, it has more of an impact on us than a stranger dieing, even though we don't really know them. Plus, if you are a fan of someone, it does seem tragic that you will never see their work again.
I really liked Glenn Quinn in Angel. The show hasn't been the same without him. It is a shame to know we'll never see him in something new. :( |

boo-fucking-hoo, what a loss to society. The guy can not even handle his drugs, which means he is wasting them. Now he is gone, and leaving more for the rest of us. such a tragic loss, right. any question about whose death was more newsworthy, the druggie or the guy that did something to help retarded kids try to live normal lives, for a few hours anyway. again I ask, Glenn who? |
