Any webmasters that purely work weekend only?
 

you know, people with dayjobs and do this affiliate stuff purely part-time?

That's probably me.... this whole gig is part time :)

Yeah I know... I'm always checking in too.
I remember a couple affiliates I had back in my Teenrev days though that were students who built up a few sites and in their spare time just maintained them.

I'm just wondering how many people operate like that still.

Seems like a lot of them. I hit someone up on ICQ last week and they still haven't gotten back to me. Kind of annoying.

Back in the day (5 years ago) i started with one site.... now almost 50 sites later... still part time... still chugging away, little by little..

Little design here, little header there, some new galleries here, some new content there, a free tour here...and TGP there....

piece by piece... this thing is grown into a monster.. and I keep chugging away, little by little... every day.

So I guess I still operate the way I did back then... just lots more to manage today. :thumbsup

i used to deliver pizza on the weekends up untill 2 years ago when gas prices went up.

Work never stops. Not on the weekend, not on 'vacations'...

no such thing as "weekend" for me ... at least not yet....

In this business, that's true for the most part.

I don't put in the same hours on the weekend as I do during the week, due to family obligations and such, but I'm often not too far from my laptop.

It's a part time thing for me, if that. 20 minutes every morning and maybee a couple hours on the weekend off and on...

I'm actually thinking about selling it all. Keeping up the sites is too much like work. Yes I know, I'm getting lazy in my old age...

I guess you can call me a "part time" webmaster now. I work for AFF as my "day job" and manage my sites on the weekends pretty much leaving them on auto pilot.

But....the sites even on auto pilot turn 6 figures yearly.

So I guess I have a full time job, part time job and 2 full time incomes, lol.

I love this biz :-)
