i'd say shoot for them Dean but they've changed their buying policy and it's not good for photographers. worthless now to shoot for Met.

I've joined a few times over the years, even once when I was an affiliate. (No, I didn't use my referral link, what I mean is I didn't ask for a free pass...)

It's chock full of content and pretty overwhelming at the start. Are they still doing 3 updates a day? That's nearly 100 new sets per month.

they do 4 updates a day - they are really behind the times though on video, most of the videos on Met are shitty behind the scenes videos.

Dean i know as creative person you are some where in space but why you wake up about met art just know. LOL. my video was best video of met 2003 or 2003 the one with Luba on kazantip . I really think Met-Art is hit or miss. Some of the girls are jaw droopingly gorgeous, but most of the photographers are average at best. They do have some really good shooters (like Erro) that shoot a majority of the layouts, but it is really disappointing to see stunning girls shot in amazing locations by amateur photographers who can't deal with natural light.

The thing about Met-art is we can't compete on a price point either as they pay bottom dollar to their "photographers" who are by and large Eastern Europeans who can afford to shoot girls for $200 US.

Of course I am generalizing. Some of the images on Met are amazing and overall it is better than most Adult sites.

Take a look at Hegre-Art if you want to see the same girls shot in consistently great quality.

Don't try and sell the 6 month or 12 month options then Hegre and Met-Art are same pricing on monthly options and both sites are relatively easy to sell. In fact I would go as far as to say they sell themselves.

Met-Art is the #1 teen softcore-art website and it has been that for long time. Both in quality and quantity, and as affiliate program. I have promoted them for years, and they convert really good. So do their sister site Metmodels. The best thing is rebills, and sometimes you are lucky with 1 year subscriptions. That is no coincidence.

There are other great sites in same niche too. Top photography. I like the concept of DOMAI and Petter Hegres website. Also worth mention was the former site Model Flats, but that website is gone. So is Galitsins project, which probably was the only site close to the quality of Met-Art, after he started working on his own.

i joined Hegre's site years ago - wasn't that impressed. all those sites build killer looking tours with all the beautiful outdoor location stuff and their best models, what's inside is something of a letdown - even Met is something of a disappointment, many of the photographers are average or worse, many of the models are average.

you're obviously confusing them with somebody else, Met was making millions long before GFY existed and nobody from Met other than an affiliate rep has ever posted on a webmaster board.

Yeah but you initially said it didn't sell because it cost $50 more, when in fact the monthly membership prices are the same

If I look at my TGP sites, Hegre out sells Met-art by close to 2:1. Not quite the same for my blog traffic but it still outsells Met-Art. So, all-in-all, they must be doing something right

Well, that depends on what you mean by teen. In adult business context, "teen" is established term that cover typical 18-23,24? Not that it matters really, the models are still the same and beautiful. It is my impression however, that from the earlier days with Galitsins models and until today, the models are getting older and also the style has become "harder" than just art and glamour. On the 2257 it says it is excempt, but I don't think that is the case anymore.

From TeenMegaCash, you mean mypreciousvirgins (former teenstarsmagazine)? There is also hardcore photos and movies on that site. The solosites are NN/glamour style.
