saw them in Melbourne, AU a few years ago now, they were AWESOME! ... did a huge set but when the house decided they were done Eddie said fuckit and kept the show going for like another twenty minutes with all the house lights up ... was one of the best performances i've ever been to

I saw them in Toronto on August 21. Good performance.

Understanding greatness is knowing when you've seen it. Eddie Vedder is truly one of the greatest rock singers and songwriters ever.

I've seen them every time they have come to Montreal.

I've seen them a bunch and love them. I worked for a Northwest music magazine when their first record came out so we had been writing about them before it had even hit the street. I went to the Ten record release party. They were amazing then and still are.

Seeing them with Neil Young was great too. They did a full set then they came back out and played as Neil's backing band for his set.

One of the best show I have ever seen is a then unknown Pearl Jam opening for a then just starting to get success Soundgarden at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle.

That was the first time I saw Pearl Jam but it was the Portland show and they did the same thing. He was pretty wasted by the end and fell off the stage a couple times but it was a great show none the less. They also went and played an invitation only show at a small club after for a little acoustic set and bullshit session. That was before all the mtv unplugged shit caught on so it was unique and great to watch.

They also played "Crazy Mary" for the first time live with Victoria Williams out there with them which was incredible to see the emotion of that performance.

On a side note opening for them was a unknown band "Blind Melon" and they put on a great show as well and was the only time I got to see them before Shannon Died.

I never saw Blind Melon but I wish I would have.
I would rank Vedder as one of the five best live singers I have ever seen. He is flat out amazing. The band is world class too and they go all out during a show.

I agree, but right now I'm into Geoff Tate from Queensryke.

That man can sing, I love it.
