reasonable time for a sposor to answer an affliate email?
24 hours ? 3 days ? a week ?
bearing in mind ICQ'ing ain't helping |
3 hours..
3 business days max. If there's a show going on, add another day.
WG |
non emergency, two business days.
Personally for me it's normal 1-2 days, but the faster - the better.
i just know they are gonna come up with an excuse like "you're email went straight into my junk mail" and "my icq hasn't been working for a week"

1 day should be max, time is money and you can loose enough money in 3 days...

never more than a day. most mails should be answered within a couple of hours during working hours...
and what if the sponsor is on vacation ?
Less than 1 hour(during business hours). All you have to do is leave your email client open or have something notify you when you get a mail. Takes less than a few minutes to reply.
I do my best to answer every email quickly. Even if it's 12am I will still answer emails fast assuming that I'm online which I am 99% of the time weekends included.
"I want $5000 PPS and you better fucking lick my ass when I come into the room gooddammit!"
It won't be an hour, but it shouldn't take a week, either. |

Small sponsors within 24 hours...big sponsors within 1 hour 24/7. Sadly small sponsors reply much much faster than the big ones, its a joke.

seems to me some of them have their spam filters catching way too much and when you talk to them a month later they say "sorry, I never got any email from you" :error
I have been waiting for one on ICQ and Email for a few days myself...
Would happen to rhyme with prick fucks would it? |
As soon as it gets in my inbox.
everything above 24hrs on workdays is just too slow...
within 24 hours for a reply by mail or ICQ is plenty enough to get the job done from the sponsors behalf, no excuses.
I agree, within 24 hours should be the industry standard
some just never reply back.
2-3 days max
I don't write sponsors unless I really have to.. can't remember when someone didn't get back to me in under two days and usually the next day. But then I'm pretty low maintenance and only write if something major is up.
OK I remember once or twice when shit went long but generally I am very happy how sponsors answer emails. |
Depends on the issue. Simple question 1-3 days. Emergency, 1-3 hours. Some just never response, no matter what. The least I expect is a reply infomring me they have received my message and will get back with me, that way I know my email didn't end up in their junk folder.
24 hours on working days.
1 day max.
has been 3 months for ourpaysiteprogram.com
i am still trying! other answers within 24hours, i will think 2-3 days is a normal delay |
I think I would be a little pissed if I had to wait over 24 hours.
24h should be max IMO
weekends are off

If it takes them longer than 24 hours, they are not doing their job right.
as soon as you get it or 24 hours
a few hours during working hours.
I guess you guys believe no sponsor should ever go on a vacation without a laptop
I'd say it depends how important you are to them, if I am not sending traffic I dont expect people to make time for me.
Off the top of my head what I expect is: 3 days minus 24 hours for every 5k you have in the pipeline with them. So if they owe you 15k, same day is reasonable. 10k, next day is good. 5k, 2 days max. Less than that, 3 days is fine. |

I had a lot of trouble contacting a program once, after several emails I resorted to calling the phone number listed in the WHOIS for their domain (no other contact details were available on their website) and leaving a voicemail. Someone heard it and that finally got the ball rolling.
