Racist sponsors: banned countries
 

I'm a honest webmaster from Czech Republic, one of the most sponsor-banned country ever. Yes, we have many cheaters here, I think. But that's not a reason, ehy I shouldn't be able to make money honestly as anyone from other countries. Many sponsor programs(such as eroticash.com, Insiteadult.com and many more) don't accept(or only in some programs) Czech, Slovak, Russians etc. webmasters. I think that it's a form of racism or nationalism. Racism is illegal in almost all countries over the world, so how is this possible?
It's same, as if anyone says, that gypsies or black people are thiefs and gangsters. Yes, there is higher crime rate in gypsies community, but though that you must let them in your retail shop, or musn't you?
What do you think?

Racist sponsors, wouldn't it be better, if you would catching cheaters, and, for example check webmasters from risk-countries more, than to don't let them in? I know many honest czech webmasters, they have a lot of good quallity traffic, which you're loosing. When anybody cheats, kick him out, but don't be racist!!!

I have solved that problem. My brother lives in germany, so I'm working on his account. But, as I said, there are many HONEST webmasters in my country, which want to make some money in this biz. They are working for non-racist sponsors, but they're discriminated by these sponsor's rules.

It isn't racist, since it isn't against race, but against country. I am canadian, if I had a Czech mailing address, I would be banned too. Yes, many sponsors ban countries where a lot of problem webmasters come from, and that is understandable, since no webmaster program wants to deal with cheaters and spammers. But if you do want in a certain webmaster program, ICQ, AIM, email etc the support email. A lot of programs will make special considerations to webmasters in banned countries if you contact them personally.

it isn't racism because it costs too much to police all the cheating fuckers from a particular country.. what, the sponsor has to cop a loss just to be fair to honest pornographers from there? it's business. if the cheater ratio fucks things up then thats it.. its not a goddamn charity.

It's not discrimination, it's business. Most webmasters that submit fraudulent credit card signups are from Eastern European countries.

Yes, as I said, there are probably many cheaters in these countries. But look at this: In gypsy community there are lot of criminals and if you kick a gypsy from your retail shop, you should be arrested for racism. It's same I think.

it's not kicking someone out of a shop... it's not having a shop there in the first place. is it wrong for McDonalds to close a shop if it isn't making money? is it wrong for not even building one in a place where they won't make money? no.
Its like one of those online competitions for US residents only.. does it suck that no one else can enter? yeah i guess.. but the comp is a promo for US consumers it's not beneficial the company to give the prize away to someone in somalia.

anyways make your own paysites and only accept eastern euro affiliates. have fun.

Most sponsor still allow people from banned countries join but not through the site, you have to email them, that screens out most cheaters.

Or you could pay me 10% for using my name&adress...

Just find a sponsor that does accept people from the CZECH republic or email the sponsor and tell them you wish to join their program. (many will allow you to join if you contact them).

It's not racism, it's called "Risk management".

The business generated isn't worth the fraud risk or the expense of tracking the fraud in a "high risk" country. Basically, they don't make enough money there to make it worth tracking down the crooks.

It's only business, not personal. Thank your predecessors.

we screen our foriegn webmasters pretty well. if you pass the exam you are free to go. we ask for at least 3 references from other webmaster programs and i conteact those prorgams to see if they have noticed any fraud activity. if you would like to join FetishCash click my sig and email me.....i will set you up

eroticash is a pornkings program and I am Czech and Hungarian but we just get hit with to many fraudulant webmasters from certain countries. I'm sure not a racist against my own heritage
and I wouldn't trust some of my family there who run escort/modeling agencies.

but if you are legit all you have to do is email us and we will except you. I will monitor the acount, if its all above board you WILL get paid out. No Prob

but I would recomend the freefreeprogram.com it pays out less on the trial but makes more on the bottom line because it convert great.

I will add this to my terms for international banned webmasters if they email me its all good.
Like I've said before contact the sponsor if you are legit I'm sure most would let you in.

I can see why you're pissed, but I can understand why you're treated that way as well. When the webmasters in the various banned countries clean house so that the quantity of abusers is more tolerable, I'm sure the sponsors will change their policies.

This has nothing to do with race and it only has to do with national identity to the extent that some nations have more than their share of cheaters, scammers, and pirates.

Believe me, if you guys would clean house in the Czech Republic and elsewhere, the sponsors would love to make some money with you.

for example, i live in quebec, a province of canada. quebec is excluded from a majority of canadian contests. this is because quebec law states that 0.5% to 10% of the total contest offerings have to be paid up front to the provincial government, regardless of whether or not the winner is in quebec.

as for superweb saying racism is illegal in nearly every country, where are you pulling this bullshit from? if i hate a specific race, the cops aren't going to bust down my door and stick me in the slammer. however, if i commit a crime with racism as my motivation, then they'll bust down my door. but regardless of whether or not my crime was racially-motivated, i'm still gonna get busted...

I agree with psyko514. It's all about the law. The known fact is that most fraud comes from Canadian webmasters. If you have a Canadian webmaster in your clickthrough program, you can be sure that he is somehow cheating. But they are still accepted in most US programs because Canadian webmasters can be sued more easily by US companies than webmasters from other countries.

I don't know about all that sponsor stuff but I know I loves the Prague babes...

The problem is that most webmasters don't understand exactly what's going on, and it's next to impossible to recover money from eastern block countries in the case of fraud. There are good and bad webmasters everywhere, it's just a matter of finding them and excluding them. I've been burned by everyone of all races, colors, religions, nations, and creeds (whatever a creed is)... But we still move forward and sell loads and loads of porn. It's a cost of doing business.

But my favorite story is one of a Russian girl who was doing a live show on a major cam network and had a very very boring show - yet she was making mint on the show. She had like 5 people watching her doing her nails in sweatpants!

After some research they found that the 5 people watching her had 5 different credit cards on one IP address - and it was the same IP as the girl!

They put the whole friggin country on the blacklist for that. Not cool but quite understandable. Especially with Visa and MC breathing down our boxers we must be VERY vigilant in preventing card fraud or we will lose processing and an assload of fees.

If I'm doing bussiness with these "racist sponsors" sponsors honestly, why I shouldn't use my brothers adress, when I can't use my own? It's not cheating, I think.

I am working with dozens of sponsors which have banned my country, just e-mail them with samples of your work and if you are legit they will let you in no prob.

Setup a program. Recruit all the webmasters who are russians, czechs, etc and banned from all other programs and see what happens to your program.

This is the problem of the eastern block. They don't know right from wrong.
