It has been a loooong time since I started a silly post... so here we go (mostly because I am drunk):

What OS do you prefer?

Now, after Windows 7, I actually can't decide anymore. W7 or Ubuntu. So I use both!

I have XP on my old laptop just to run a few programs.

But my main computer is 100% linux and has been for 4 years. Currently running Fedora 10 x86_64

Win 7 is my new fav, but Vista has served me well the last 2 years with no issues. :thumbsup

I voted XP, but I think when I switch to 7 here shortly, that will be my new pick.

What's "other"?

FBSD maybe?

I use OpenBSD a lot. Servers, home computers.

My laptop is a Macbook so I picked OS X.

Main machine is XP, laptop is OSX, gonna upgrade main machine to Win7.

I remember when there were just a handful of Mac users on this board.

Ohhhh and I voted for OSX.

Yeah I'm not really against the PC crowd, but I do love the MAC.

I just hope we can stay below the radar of the hackers out there for a few more years.

We're multiplying. The more MS sucks the more of us there are. I've got to give Windows 7 props though, it's not bad so far but still feels archaic after using OSX for so long.

It doesn't seem like a day goes by that I see someone here talking about a new Mac.

I'm sitting here organizing some files to install Snow Leopard on one of my netbooks to compare to Win 7 running on the same machine.

OS X on the laptop and Windows 7 on the desktop.

I gotta hand it to MS, W7 is very very nice, but OS X is still king for me :upsidedow

Good to see *nix varieties are beating windows varieties.

I skipped Vista and went from XP to W7.
I've been using W7 for almost 2 weeks now and I'm very, very happy with it.

As much as I'm shocked to admit it, Vista has been rock solid for me since I reluctantly upgraded from XP Pro.

I love Linux Mint for popping around and doing easy stuff in, but don't have the tech savvy or patience to get my photoshop, vegas, etc working in it, so it's not my full time os.

where is windows 3.11 on this list!

Vista until I try out 7.never had major issues with Vista

XP.. but will try 7 when the final release is out

I had soooo much trouble with Vista, so when I installed W7 on my laptop I did not know what to expect. But yeah, W7 delivers! A good OS, so far! :thumbsup
