This is the back of some taxi driver's head. I was thinking if we got into an accident it would pop and shit would be all over. So I took a picture and got the fuck out of the cab !

i dunno, black men have problems with ingrown hairs, usually on their faces, i always see that magic shaving powder in the drugstore, it's for black guys so they don't have to use a blade and make their ingrown hair problems worse.

maybe those things are caused by ingrown hairs gone horribly wrong.

it's not a good look, it can't be helping him with the ladies. Though cab drivers don't tend to be chick magnets so maybe he doesn't give a shit.

Its scar tissue that has grown oversize. In highschool, a black girl got her ear peirced and a huge amount of scar tissue grew and she had to hve her whole left ear lobe removed.

Its not something that can "pop" or be lanced, it has to be surgicly removed. Its not attractive, but not dangerous.

Spunky's right.. it's a very large keloid. Some people are more apt to scar that way than others. Wonder what in the heck happened for him to have that large an area of his head injured enough to scar.

yep. keloid is what i'm thinking. it's not crusty or shingly enough to be psoriasis.

Definitely a keloid, is caused by cuts etc, its just scar tissue.

A friend of mine in the service was branded while in a collage fraternity and caused a keloid, so now he has this huge brand that is raised up like 1/2" on his skin. Kinda weird :)

That happened to me too. I didn't have to have my earlobe removed, but I had the lump cut off. It had grown to the size of a pencil eraser. :Oh crap There was still a bit of a lump left, so about a year ago I had my ear pierced at 10 gauge and the piercer cork-screwed the needle through as he pierced it, removed most of the rest of the scar tissue. :thumbsup

that comes from ingrown hairs gone wrong. and it is exactly why a blade hasn't touched my face in years. I cut my beard with clippers. If I used a blade, the hairs would curl into my skin and cause bumps. Then somebody would have to take tweezers and pluck the hairs out of the bumps....mainly it only happens to black men. It happened to me while I was in the navy. One of the other dudes in boot camp had to pluck the shits out. Then there's a crowd of white people standing around me gawking like some kind of brain surgery was going on.
