Sex Offenders to be banned from twitter

i guess some people just don't like sex offenders... period.

I can't imagine that holding up as constitutional once it's taken to the courts...based on the broad definition of what could be considered a social network.
Even Yahoo offers profiles pages. |
exactly HOW do they plan to prove if someone is in fact a sex offender?
Twitter: only need an email address to sign up with pretty much the same thing across the board, some social networks require as little as a zipcode, some as much as an address, but who says they use the real info? Shit like this just makes me scratch my head lol BUT here's food for thought..... let's pretend for a moment.... New regs make sex offenders ALSO register their email address, it just so happens to be a domain addy (not a free email service) few years down the line joe shmo buys that domain name You know where this is going lol -Loki- |
Great in theory, absolutely impossible to enforce unless the sex offender is really really stupid, in which case their chances of luring anyone into their sex offending ways is slim to none anyways.

why do we as webmasters gotta be adding to the twitter hype, it would have been fine to just title the thread with "social networking sites", fight the mindless media promotion :helpme:2 cents::1orglaugh
