Moviebox trying to make you sell your content to tubes? Anyone?
 

Long story short

Day 1
I get a message from Moviebox regarding my first adult DVD I put out (yay for me). Amazingly I just put this out 3 days out in the market they want me to sell the rights to them at a dumb price. I ask why would I want to do this?. To avoid my content showing on tube for free might as well sell it (thanks for looking out ;\). I said I'll think about it (hoping they just go away).

Day 2
The same person messages me and "informs" me he has seen my content and gives me 3 links to the tube site. Oh nice my 20min content on there. I tell him I will check it out when I get home. I look up who owns the tube site ..these guys are not bright.

I go to my room and pray the gods of my religion, that tube site ends up having a downtime for 5 hours. I email the webmaster of the tube site about the links why I can't see them. They respond with "We are taking down your content and won't ever put them up again". I only asked about them not working not about here is my DMCA letter :(.

I can't wait to put another DVD out under another name ..I am not fucking stupid. You aren't the only tube whores on the Internet next time I'll pray 4x times harder at least see who you are contacting. You may have traffic but I got my religion and my prayers always come true.

funny you mention this because i have heard that another often discussed scumbag company is doing the same thing..

let me give you some advice. document and record everything you are sent along with screen caps of your content being on their site..

what they are doing is illegal in more ways than one..

@Harrison: Yeah I know MovieBox = Brazzers.. same shit.

@market: I am aware of the documents and watermarks but that won't stop anyone from tube'n it and I do not mind if they do because when I pray ..I make sure I pray hard. I wish I owned more DVDs because Tubes seem to go after those since they have no watermarks mostly and most owners don't know what a TUBE IS!

But I am not stupid ..I take actions to stop my content from spreading rather than bitch and moan about it. I might just hire that dumbass from removeyourcontent and see if my shit shows up in other places as well.

@sharphead: Yes when you create your own religion it works effectively because you have control...if you wish to join one's religion you can still do so but it will costs some pennies to get your prayers done. My gods don't play around..I just wish more of my content would show up on tube sites so I can have a reason to pray.

Nope but those that are looking for new religion should seek "IRC search engines" and find what they are looking for, sometimes OPs idle in empty rooms waiting for someone to help out.
