New to the forum, and a question

I've been a regular visitor to the boards here for quite some time but finally got an account. First, hello and thank you to everyone on the board. A great community with lots of helpful info and advice that's always good for a few laughs as well :thumbsup

I got a question already though.

I'm working on a few sites that will each be targeted to promoting specific programs. My idea is to borrow heavily form the design of these sites so that there is some continuity when the surfer goes through my funnel and ends up at the site's sign-up page. Do sponsors allow you to make similar looking sites? etc? Obviously not trying to look like you are THE site in question, but something affiliated.

Hope that made sense. Thanks in advance.

Also I'm a freelance copywriter and have done a lot of work with review sites and tons of mainstream stuff as well. I tend to stay away from the blog posts and what not but if you need some good SEO copy for a tour page, review site, articles, etc.. hit me up! ICQ 440309769

Welcome to GFY :)
As for your question, I think you have to ask every sponsor if they allow similar looking sites :)

JerryF 08-11-2009 01:06 PM

Thanks everyone. Thanks Chosen, yeah I was assuming that would be the only route as each runs things their own way. Now just to pick a few good sponsor programs. BangBros was on the list but seems like its saturated online.

Some do, some dont, some wont even allow you to use a part of the domain so be real careful.

Best thing to do is to contact each program and ask.

I guess if you just use their color schemes, font type etc you should be okay. I would not use any of the copyrighted material like photos and videos...
Welcome to the board and good luck !

Welcome! I think everyone's already covered all the bases, but asking each site and making sure you don't use copyrighted materials is probably your best bet.
