Any possible reason I cant access a URL and everyone else can?

Hey there, for some reason I can't access epochstats.com to check my stats. I talked to them and they have no idea. Seems everyone else can access it but not me. It has been like this for a month. Any possible solutions I can take?

Software/hardware firewall.
Comodo was doing this to me. I got fed up and disabled it completely.

i accidentally blocked your ip in my /etc/hosts file...
and if you were trying to access my server, you wouldn't be able to..
i'll try to get it fixed on the morning, but i can't see how this will impact you anyway.

try rebooting your pc and see if that helps.. although since none of this has to do with my server, i really dont see how rebooting your pc will help you either..

Could be a routing issue with your ISP? I had that happen a couple of times when I was on Cox.

could be blocking you by ip...try resetting the router fully

Before resetting your router and whatnot, if you have a software firewall turn it off, restart and then try.

I opened up IE w/out addons option one time... it was automatically loaded on my desktop and couldn't access my own site. Opened up firefox and IE (the standard) no problems...

qxm 08-07-2009 07:27 PM

my take is that the Scotty is using Vista..... I had the same problem with several sites I couldn't access all of the sudden....that fucking OS would drop my internet connection every day .....like it was hot or somethin...

Might wanna try:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Pretty interface tho....
