Whats your take on form hits
 

Well we see a lot of form hits but not that many form submissions. I try to figure out why some one would go to a form to pay and then still close it. they know the price from the site. there is nothing new there just the fields they have to fill in. Now how would this go. They think i want a membership price is good, lets do it. Then a click later think o forget it i don't want it and go shop for another site. Why the change of heart.

What is your take on this?

Assuming you're talking about a porn site join form, here's one scenario:

Guy's all horned up from the tour, pounding his meat, clicks "Join" cause he needs to see more of "that" girl, gets up from his chair to get his CC and by the time he comes back he's limp and says "Fuck it".

Either that or his wife or kids walked in while he was filling out the form... Or he notices the shitload of pre-checked cross-sells under the form... Or he just chickened out... Or he...

Do you have "Continue tour" links that go directly to the join form?

some probably go to the form page to just to see how much it is (if its not already in the tours), if it looks legit etc. If it doesn't look legit (i don't think people trust pornsites as much as a typical online store), don't quite get exctly what content they'll be getting etc, or is too much they'll go back to surfing free porn.
i think some of the best converting join pages are the ones that look real (non scam like), and give plenty of details on exactly what the member will get when he signs up

well there are no continue tour links. i know that we have to be honest. we even that honest that when you get on our site you have access to everything except the forum and some other stuff you only get to see when you are inside, but you see all video picture content that we have. The prices are clear. you go to join page which let you choose your membership. nothing fishy, no cross sales, and price are rock bottom. 15 dollar per month. or a trail. still getting those form hits on ccbill.

One time i thought it was the search bots but then i saw they are not being counted on the site. Still weird.

The thing i came up with, is that fact people want to pay the fee but then think about all the other stuff they still want to buy or maybe the endless billing cycles no y to get out of it. But we have also have a full written explanation of how t cancel. I don't think we can make things more simple for the surfers.

And many other friends of mine with paysites have this issue. All asking them self why
