Are mispelt domains worth getting? [discussion]
 

It's an old question.

But do you feel mispelt domains are worth getting anymore?

There is quite a few i've seen pop up lately that are available, and that someone could easily type in wrong.

But then when I think about, once they've visited the actual site they want it's kept in the history and comes up in the address bar (providing they aren't clearing the history/cache whatever)

like erotiga.com (available btw)

I'd probably say they ain't worth anything, but What are your thoughts?

Generic typos are worth having, but all the good ones were taken long ago.

But there are loads popping up again and i've seen quite a few that could easily be done by a slip on the key.

This is making think they are no loner worth getting.

I don't mess with misspelled or typo domains. Some people do though, and make a fair amount off of them, both through parking and selling. Like you've said, there are still typos and misspellings to be had.

On another note regarding your CuteExGF.com, and I didn't post this in your sales thread because I didn't wanna fuck it up for you. The CuteExGFS.com that I just sold was an expired domain, meaning I paid more than reg-fee for it. CuteExGF.com that you're selling, was available then for reg-fee but I didn't buy it. I sold mine for $250 which I consider a fair price because another similar name just sold for $600. I think it's kind of funny that you paid reg fee for your domain yesterday and now you're trying to flip it for $800.

This isn't directed at you personally, I see a lot of people selling domains on here that just don't have a clue. You've got the right idea tho, and if you want to post your icq I can hit you up in about five hours and give you some pointers.
