Think about how many dorm rooms have barewalls, when they have the poster sales at colleges you think they are giving away free money. I didn't notice anything out of whack with my tracking. However CJ is known to be quick to play the fraud card with affiliates and turn back earnings. My personal experiences with them was that they are completely fucking retarded. Besides having an absolutely annoying admin panel, they have some fucked up policies. I got an email a week after my monthly payment was locked in. There were some referers they didn't like. Maybe a dozen hits out of thousands. A couple MySpace urls, and some other random urls. They asked me why they were there. I told them I don't know, inks get around. Could have happened any of many ways. They then reversed my payment on the grounds that it looked like something fraudulent, but they weren't sure. hen they asked me to keep promoting it and the make sure my referers were all in line. Like fuck I was gonna keep promoting them. So I basically told them in they had no intention of paying out my balance, to just terminate my account with them. They terminated my account at this point. Fast forward a few months, and the other day I find a check from CJ for a little more than half what they owed me. The numbers don't seem to line up with any recognizable pattern with what i remember of my stats. It doesn't seem like they based the number off of anything in particular. haven't heard from them since, not sure what made them decide to send me money at all, nor the amount.

AJC is straight on, CJ is very strict and will nail you for anything suspicious. However, I've never had any problems with them paying what they owed me on time. However, they're the only way I know of to promote a lot of mainstream brands =/ I'm open to other suggestions, though.

I need to specify, that these are actual college students. My audience is EXTREMELY targeted and is definitely IN college, not just around the age of college kids.

If your site is very targeted towards specific colleges, make your money from offline adverts. Call up the local pubs, nightclubs, live music venues, or whatever and get in touch with someone in promotions. Call up the skate shops, head shops, whatever else is in your area that might connect. Present them with your traffic stats and demographics, and give them a good pitch as to why the should advertise their events with you. See what's being pitched on the local radio stations with the college listeners... :2 cents:
