That's too high... I only pay $1 p/month per separate ip.
I'd much rather pay a higher one time fee though.

$1 a IP where I am at, people think my host sucks but I have gotten to know them pretty good learned some admin things with the server and got terabytes of transfer for what seems like nothing

Check out prohosters.com u get up to 100 ip's at no charge. And if you are on their semi or dedicated.. hardly any problems..

I've never been charged for IPs, domain setup, or anything like that. ...not even charged for any of the 5 servers I have with them.

seems to me like everyone should work out personal relationships with their host....talk to them on the phone a couple times, have some beers with them at a show..

Never charged, but they just wont give any. Their idea of "unlimited ips" is less than 20.

I asked for a IP 2 days ago and i'm still waiting on it.

Some hosts don't charge for IPs <cough>

most hosts get IPs for FREE from their upstream providers unless they have their own IP block. Even then it is still cheap!

$5.00/IP is not too bad! They probably make more off the IPs per month then the service. heh
