Removing links=ASSHOLE!
How in the fuck do these jerkoffs expect to survive by doing this, not only unethical practice, but fucked up practice to boot. Is it worth winding up on blacklists?
Too many webmasters out there do this shit. If you are a directory or a link board, why even offer link trades when you know your just going to remove it after a week or two... or a month, or whenever. It is not like webmasters do not talk. ...fucking assholes :321GFY |
Tell us how you really feel....

If "too many" do it then you're probably just going to have to accept that it happens. :2 cents: It sucks, but you just move on... automate the checking so you can quickly reciprocate the drop.

It is not always as easy as 'it should stay up forever'.
When I look at sites to decide if there is a trade to be done, I expect the sites to remain somewhat active and current. If I check a link 3-6-12-18 months later and its now a link farm, or blatant splog that has been left for dead, I'm dropping the trade, I email and explain that I'm simply not feeding their shit piles, and to hit me up for a real, equal value trade. I've dumped 40-50 trades probably this year already, and only really done one full review, but also have thousands of such trades done. |

No prob with letting the webmaster know. And I agree, if the webmaster changes the site from something good to something that is totally useless to my surfers, I do the same thing. I email them out of simple decency. Thats a good rule to follow :thumbsup |

Review sites, affiliate directories, etc. are not expected too imho. Although if one of my review sites dumped a site i own and i continue to send traffic to them, I would like to know what they decided to dump me, but that has never happened to me personally. Review sites for the most part are pretty professional, as far as respecting link placement. |
I don't get why some of you think that a link is meant to stay up forever ?
Implement a checking system and move on. |
