PROGRAMMERS: Data transport solution needed
 

Assuming I need some java help as the program I am working in has java elements surrounding the problem I am looking at. The solution may be outside the realm of java, you tell me!

I specifically need to set up the endpoints of a data stream - a "listener" (my host location/URL) and a "delivery location" (URL).
